Festive Lips

Hello everyone!
Its Christmas Eve!
Today I am sharing with you the 2 lip products that I have been wearing over the festive season.

I find lots of lip sticks never stay on my lips for a long time, so I tend to just start the day of by wearing a nude colour, so when it does rub off its not that obvious that I was wearing a lipstick. Also I think I am rubbish at applying lipstick, as I always and I mean always get it all around my lips. That could be because my hands tend to shake when I hold things! Don't ask why my hands shake when I hold things as I don't know either.

Knowing me, I have probably already mentioned this products before as I don't own many Christmassy lipsticks, which is a shame bare in mind I love darker shades.

My top favourite is Fond Farewell from Seventeen. This was a gift from my brother last Christmas, and I love it so much! As I am unlucky to have extremely pale skin, this colour doesn't wash me out too much.
The Seventeen Stay Pout collection retail as £4.49, which if I am honest I think its a bit too pricey as it doesn't stay on your lips very long and especially I think its a great colour for the festive season, people drink quite a lot through December so its rubs off easily.

The last festive lip colour is Cherry Pop from Clinique. Its a lovely red and suits most people, which is very good! What I love about this product is that its not sticky after you have applied it to your lips its stays very matte.
For £16 I think this is quite a good price and that Clinique is high end, £16 is good for a highend lipstick.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
Love Amy xx

Christmas Wishlist 2016

Its nearly Christmas day! This year has gone so fast!
Today I am going to write about what I have asked for, for Christmas. In no means am I expecting any of this. It was just to give family and friends and idea of what I would like or what I enjoy.

I have had my eye on this ring since the Pandora store in my town has open. I love the infinity symbol anyway, and I think this will go really nice with my other 2 I already have.

I also really like this ring, its so simply and will go with anything.

I have never owned anything from Sleek, and I have heared so much about Sleek and lots have recommended it. This gift box is from boots and currently reduced to £25! It has 10 products inside, and I think that is amazing for £25.

*A Curler
I have never owned a curler, and I just think I will enjoy curling my hair every now and again as I find plaiting my hair and straightening it very therapeutic!

*Clothes
Any clothes would do to be honest, I don't actually have that many clothes that fit properly most of it is too big for me.

*A Watch
Again I don't mind what watch it is, maybe a silver watch would be nice.

I got one last year for Christmas which I use for school, but the one I have at home is so old and disgusting but its not a compact one so its get wrecked very easily.

*Nail Vanishes
I have really enjoyed painting my nails recently and that fact I managed to go all last week with nail vanish on at school really shocked me! As a few teachers don't like nail vanish and I even represented my school in its Christmas Concerts and Assemblies with band, where there was all Senior Leadership team and no one said anything!

*A New School Bag
Right ok, I did buy one in the summer but its actually too small, so my mum has taken it for work, so I am currently using my old one from last year but its starting to fall apart!

*Lush!
Well actually I have asked for a lush voucher as on boxing day, Lush always have a sale and I can get everything half price.

This is all really I am asking for. I will be very grateful for no matter what I get for Christmas.

Merry Christmas

Pandora Will Always Be My Favourite

Heyia!
I am posting today because I feel bad that I haven't uploaded over the past couple of weeks.

Pandora will always be my favourite! I am lucky enough to own 2 rings that Pandora sell and I love them both to pieces.

I got given this for Christmas a few years back from my parents and its my favourite one out of the 2 that I own. Its so simply. I love that its hearts all joint together to make a ring.
This ring is £35 which I think is a really good price for it. £35 is quite cheap for Pandora but then I think its a reasonably price.

My hand is so ugly, ahah
My birthday is in April, so it makes sense that I got the diamond birthstone ring. I think us April babies are so lucky to have diamond as our birthstone, as a lot of rings have a diamond stone and it means something a bit more special to us.
If I am honest I don't think this on is really worth £40, only because underneath the diamond, it does tend to get quite dirty, but otherwise its a really nice ring.

I am thinking about getting a Pandora charm bracelet but I don't know if its worth it. So if you own one please let me know if they are worth the money.

Hope everyone having a nice day

An Autumn Eye Palette

How fast is this year going? Its already autumn, it felt like yesterday that it was easter!
Today post is all about an eye shadow palette which I brought in the airport before I jetted off to Ibiza in the summer holidays.

I'm not really an eye shadow girl, I prefer buying foundation and blusher, but when I saw the Bare Minerals counter something clicked and was like 'Amy get your bum over there and just have a look, but don't buy anything'. Yeah well that didn't go to plan.
I saw this beautiful eye shadow palatte with 8 different shades from matte to shimmer, and as I have never own anything from Bare Minerals, I went straight to my mum and asked if I can have it and she said yes! YIPPIEE

Top row, left to right - Hot Commodity, Nude Beach, Bare Skin and Pure
Bottom row, left to right - In The Buff, Natural, Perspective and Celebrate

The palette is called The Sexy Neutrals and I believe its air port exclusive, but if you can get your hands on then 100% get it! The eye shadow lasts around 8 hours which I think is a reasonable time. I paid £29, which is a bit too much as the eye shadow their selves an't that big but they are so pigment and bold! These eye shadow colours go so well with brown or hazel eyes, which is a plus sided for me as I have hazel/green eyes.

My favourite shades are In the Buff and Celebrate.
In the Buff is a bronzey pinky shade with lots of shimmer but not too much so it ruins the everyday look. I wear this shade to school and my school can be quite strict on makeup but no one has said anything about it, which means that I think its an okay school colour.
Celebrate is a very neutral on the lid base colour or just a bit of pop to the lid when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup.

So far, I am loving this palette and I think its going to be so useful and its going to be my go to eye shadow palette this Autumn!

Whats your favourite eye shadow?

Make-Up That I Wore On Holiday

Heyia, I hope you are all well!
I am currently lying on a sun bed trying to get a tan!
Todays post is what make-up I took on holiday with me.

-Loreal Infallible Primer-
Priming your face before make-up, gives a layer of protecting on your face, to hopefully stop makeup going into pores and preventing more! I love this primer as it makes my skin so soft and it smells really nice!

- Loreal Infallible Foundation-
This is my number 1 foundation, so I took this with me, as its so easy to apply and it matches my skin tone perfect! Its a very build-able foundation, so if I want a more coverage look then this is perfect for that use.

-MAC Studio Fix-
This foundation is currently too dark for my skin colour, yes I am basically as white as a piece of paper! So if I do tan then hopefully this will be ok. I rarely tan on my face and I don't know why. MAC Studio Fix, isn't one of my favourite foundations at the moment of time as I think its too watery and I think it will be better if you have a dry face. However when I am on holiday in the sun my face becomes quite dry, so this is a great foundation for that.

-Seventeen Stay Time Concealer-
For the days where I don't want to wear much makeup or if its extremely hot. As who wants to do a nice face of makeup and then for it all to melt of your face! This is great concealer if you don't want much coverage, its light and natural.

-Seventeen Stay Time Pressed Powder-
We all have that go to powder which keeps running back into your make-up bag and this is mine, it stops the oily glow which you can sometimes get after you apply your foundation and it makes your make-up look amazing!

-Collection Contour Kit-
Instead of taking a bronzer and highlighter on its own, this duo is perfect! The bronzer is very natural and buildable and the highlight is extremely good for drugstore! You can also use both shades for eye shadow too!

-Seventeen Blush (Nude)-
For being a couple of pounds, you can not go wrong. This blush stays on so well and it is gorgeous for when you have a tanned face. Seventeen do a whole lot of different shades of blusher and they are all so pretty!

-Loreal Infallible Setting Spray-
After I done my base, I love to use this and it sets my make-up very well and I have definitely seen a different in how long my makeup have stayed on my face since using this!

-Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara-
My go to mascara, its easy to apply and lasts all day, its perfect to do a buildable black eye, and looks beautiful with a winged eyeliner!

-Babylips (Cherry Me)-
Just a basic lip balm for every day use to not get chapped lips

-MAC Lipstick (Angel) -
Lovely pink shade, so easy to apply and looks amazing with a bright pink blush and a lot of highlighter.
I recommend getting lipsticks from Duty free in airports as they are a lot cheaper!

-Kiko Lipstick (01)-
The perfect nude! Stunning colour for a natural look.
Kiko lip products are so moisturizing and I love them so, so much.

Let me know where you have been this Summer, if you have been anywhere or what you have done.

Summer Essentials

Its Summer, and today I would like to share with you some of my must haves this Summer!

A casual pair of sandals is a must have for the Summer, as you don't want to have hot, sweaty feet from your trainers, plus you don't have to take them off for when you go onto the beach.
Mine are from New Look, and they cost me £7.99, they are not the best looking sandals but they will be perfect for a casual day.

Its that time of year again, when you get out all of your bright, funky colours.
I love wearing bright colours all year round but it does look a bit stupid in the middle of winter with bright pink on your nails.
These are from Boutique which I think is the Sainsbury range of beauty and I really like them, they last a very long time plus they look great!

Whether its a perfume, body spray or a body mist, these are essential in the summer especially if you are not away on holiday as then you don't get the summery smell without these.
The one in the picture is Hello Beautiful from Bath and Body Work and Oh My God, it is amazing!

For days when you don't want your hair up but you want it  out of your face.
There are so many different types of hair clips, I prefer these ones as you can get them in so many different colours and patterns and they are so comfortable.

Now I am not a huge fan of watches, but if you wear some bangles or bracelets on your wrist with it. It does end up looking nice and stylist.

I love wearing earrings in the summer as an extra piece of jewelry as they just make your outfit look 100% better and well put together.
I get most of my earring form Accessorize as they do some very nice ones.
At the moment I have been loving these little birds.

The last thing I love in the Summer is Play Suits. I think play suits look great on everyone no matter what shape built you are.
This year I have 3, one from New Look (see photo), one from Next and one from Primark and I love them all.

Let me know what your Summer Essentials are!

June Favourites //2016

Heyia!

We are now half way over the year! That has gone so fast.

Today I would like to share with you, what I was loving last month

Diet Cherry Coke-
I am not a huge fan of coke, as I just don't like what is taste off and that it goes flat very easily and when its flat its just horrible.
I have never tried this until my brother wanted our Mum to buy it and OMG it is amazing! It taste just like cherry-ade, but a whole lot better.

Loreal Infallible 24H- Matte Foundation-

This has been my every-day school foundation for the past month. It has a smooth look effect to the face and it lasts all day.
There is a lot of product in one tube so for £7.99 it's a huge must have.
I done a big review on this product the other week, and you can find that here.

Morphe 35N Palette -
I have recently been getting into eye-shadow, and as I have brown eyes in my opinion there isn't many colours that look good. However these 15 pinky, brown colours have gone really nice with my eyes and they make a great natural school look.

 Shaard Bracelet-
I brought this around Christmas time and I never really worn it as I would of had to take it off when I had PE and also my school can be strict on bracelets. Therefore I haven't really worn it but since the start of Term 6 I have worn it every single day and even in PE and no one seems to care.
The bracelet itself is silver beads with a blue heart and as I am not a huge fan of bracelets, its very simply but looks nice at the same time.
 Staedtler Felt Tips-

I have been loving these to make my school work look very nice and organised especially homework.
I also tend to write cards with these just to make the card prettier instead of using a plain black bio.
They can be expensive, but they are 100% worth the money.
MAC Lipstick in Angel-

I got this for my birthday this year and I am in love with it.
I've always wanted a MAC lipstick and when I got this, I was very happy.
Angel is a pinky nude colour, and its perfect for school if you have medium skin colour.
As I am pale it stands out too much, so I only wear this on the weekend with pink eyes and it looks very nice.

I hope you liked getting to know what I have been loving last month!

Does anyone have the CSS code, which allows you to centre you blog title and dates, as I've tried a few and they are not letting me.

My Go To Summer Hairstyle

My brother took this and yes we all know how rubbish
he is at taking photos!
Hello Everyone,
Recently I have been wearing my hair down a lot and I am starting to like it! I have really thick hair which means you get so hot when its down especially in the Summer. I have fairly straight hair, so its not that interesting, if I am honest.

My go to hairstyle recently has been wavy/curly hair with 2 French braids coming from the front and being tied up at the back. This is a non-heat hairstyle too which means there's no damaging to the hair in order to recreate this.
I have been getting a lot of compliments at school about my hair!

What you will need-
A brush, I use a tangle teezer and they are amazing! I get a new one each year for Christmas as I use mine so much.
Lots of hairbands, preferable the little thin ones.

Step 1- After you have washed your hair at night time, divide your hair down the middle, so you have two equal side. On each side do about 4/6 plaits depending on how much hair you have.
You will look very silly but its well worth it!
Now sleep all night with your hair in plaits.

Step 2- In the morning pull all the hair bands out and un-do the plaits. With your hair brush, brush your hair normally. Your hair will go very poofy and big.

Step 3- Your hair should still be equal on both sides, if not then make sure it is. Grab a bunch of hair from the front and plait backwards then get someone to hold it or put it in your mouth while you do the other side.

Step 4- Once you done both sides bring them both round to the back of your hair and tie them with a hair band, this will make your hair less poofy.

Hope you like this and maybe you will re-create this!

Right now, I am doing Relay For Life and if you do not know what that is, its where you walk for 24 hours for Cancer Research. I am walking around a 400m track down at my local outdoor sports centre. If you would like do donate to Cancer Research then that will be amazing: click here.

Loreal Paris Infallible Collection Review

Hello!

Today I am going to write about some of Loreals makeup products!

Background story- I am one of the most unlucky ones who have been given oily skin. I started wearing makeup about 3 years ago and since then I have never seemed to find a foundation or anything that hasn't gone cakey on my skin or have just rubbed off. I am also extremely pale so its hard to find a foundation that matches my skin colour.

Until now! 3 week ago, me and my mum went into Superdrug and I knew what foundation I would like to get and that was the Loreal Infallible 24 hour Matte Foundation.
Now as you can tell I brought 2 more products and that was because it was on 3for2!
All three products are £7.99 each.
I have to say for £7.99 each, I am extremely impressed. I have gone through the whole day at school and after school clubs with a full flawless makeup.
7:30am to 9pm, over 12 hours!

1. The Primer
A little bit goes a long way! Its soft and smooth and feels very nice on the skin. After putting this on my face I can already feel my face not as oily as it can be.
Primers overall are meant to make a smooth layer on your skin for when you put your foundation on and this does the job very well.

The primer and foundation tubes look like this- they are very small and thin which makes a tiny bit of product come out at the time.
After applying a primer the next step is foundation.
This blends into the skin very nicely, however around my forehead it takes a lot more for it to blend properly.
Loreal also sells this foundation in a liquid form which I am yet to try out, but they do a range of different colours.

On the back of every products package is a 'How to..' and some more info about the product itself.

As it was 3 for 2 I wasn't going to buy the setting spray, I was going to get the powder. However I am so glad I went for this! After applying all of my makeup except mascara and lips, I spray about 4 pumps of the setting spray to set all of my makeup. Its very watery but it drys quickly and doesn't smudge anything and it keep makeup input all day which out it falling or smudging anywhere.

Rating:
Product- 9/10
Packaging- 8/10
Price- 10/10

If you have oily skin then definitely try these products and let me know how you get along with them.

I am stuck on blog ideas, so please leave some suggestions down below, it would mean a lot!

Quick And Easy Makeup

           Hello!
Today I am going to share with you a quick and easy makeup tutorial, that I have been doing for the past couple of weeks!

For the base, I used:
MAC Oil Control Lotion- This product is amazing if you have combination to oil skin, even though it is on the pricey end, it is well worth it!
MAC Studio Fix Fluid- Great foundation, if you want a light coverage, wouldn't recommend if you have very oily skin.
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer- A very good concealer to cover up any redness or acne.
Seventeen Stay Time Pressed Powder- I do this this pressed powder is way much better than Rimmel Stay Matte Powder because it gives of a better finish.

To add more colour to my face, I used the MAC Minerlize Skin Finish in Medium/Tan, this gives of a nice tan look, if you are very pale and don't want to look like a ghost!
For blusher I use the Collection Gorgeous Glow blush in the shade Blush block, its a very pretty pinky nude with hints of shimmer in it!

For eyes I go all over with the Tanya Burr Brow Kit, even though it is meant for brows I use it for eye shadow, in the shade Pebble and then I take Fair Cake and put it in the inner conner of my eyes.

For Mascara I use the Maybelline Lash Sensational one, the wond is incredible and it gives of lots of volume

As this is a quick and easy makeup look, for the lips to keep it basic, I use these to nude shades. I first go in with the Seventeen Lip Crayon and then go over with the Makeup Revolution Lip Gloss!

I hope you enjoyed this!

2015 Favourites

Hello!

This is my last post for 2015! And I am going to share with you my favourite for this year!

Before I start, I would like to say Thank you, so much for 3,000+ page views! I started this blog for a bit of fun, just over 2 months ago, and seeing that I have people reading from all around the world makes me so happy!

This year I have been loving quotes! Quotes are something that can be very truthful and honest, they are all unique. I got this one that says 'always kiss me goodnight' , I got it from Next for £1!
I also been loving Lush! Always have and properly always will! This year I have especially been loving Butter Bear, it makes you skin so smooth and glowy! Which I love so much!
Next I have been loving candles, just candles in general! I especially been loving Yankee Candles!
Next Cashmere perfume, this perfume have such a fresh smell and I have had this 30mls bottle for about 5/6 months now and I am still going on the same bottle! I have been having a lot of compliments on what  I am wearing and it has always been Cashmere by Next as it is just amazing!

Make-up Favs:

My go to concealer this is year is the Seventeen Stay Time Concealer, it is very high coverage and even though its not my exact skin-colour, I can easier get away with it! It is very good for oily skin types!
In the Stay Time collection, I have also been loving the Pressed Powder from this collection, it gives a very matte finish and it doesn't go cakey throughout the day, with is a bonus!

I have also been loving 2 of the Seventeen Lip Crayons this year, the one of the left is a pinky berry colour and the one on the right is a gorgeous nude!

I have mentioned this thousands of times, but my ultimate blush for this year is the Collection Gorgeous glow blush palette, it gives a very rosie look effect and is perfect for the warmer months!

This year I brought the Seventeen Define&Conquer Contour kit, as I wanted to try and contour my face and I have loved it so much! It comes with a highlight and bronzer which are so pretty and the perfect colour combination for my skin!

As well as make-up, I have been loving Real Techniques brushes, these brushes have made my make-up look so flawless and natural.

Organising:

Last year at school my planner was a mess,  it was not organised at all!
So in September when I started the new academic year, I wanted to keep my planner well organised. The key to keeping planners organise is high lighting. I highlight all the homework that I done, so then I know what I need to do. However my school got Show My Homework, which is an online planner type thing and I have to say it is rubbish! So I have stuck to my planner!

Random Bits and Bobs:

First thing is, my flute! I have been playing the flute for 2 years and 4 months now, and this year I have just been so passionate about it and I really enjoy playing it, I think its because I've gone form Intermediate Band in school to Senior Band.
Next, is my Fitbit, This thing is amazing and well worth the money. It counts the steps you do, calculate how many miles you walked, how many calories you burnt, how many active minutes you done that day and a lot more things. You can also compete with our friends and family on it as well.

I have also been loving Zumba, earlier this year I quit Tap and Modern as it just got too serious, so me and my Mum joined my Nan with Zumba and I really love it so much!

Next thing is OLAF! I've been loving Olaf this year, I think he is very cute! For my birthday my Mum and Dad brought me a 3.5ft Olaf Balloon and it was the best thing ever! I also got some Olaf Pjs from Sainsburys.

2nd to last thing I have been loving is this gorgeous Jewellery Box, I love all the  patterns on it and how colour it is! I also like the fact is has a mirror inside!

Last thing I have  been loving is Blogging! I love all the support given to me and all of the people I have talked to help boost my blog up, Thank you so much!

I hope 2016 gives you health and happiness! And it becomes a year to remember!
I have a lot of things happening in 2016! I am so excited!

Tanya Burr Nail Vanish Review

Hello!

For Christmas I received 2 Tanya Burr Nail Vanishes from my brother, I got Penguin Chick and Sugar Plum, which is limited edition! I have already painted my nails Penguin Chick and it is a really pretty grey.

Today's post is me doing a little review on them!

1) Packaging?
The packaging is really pretty and very photogenic, however when you take the lid off, the actually lid where the brush is, isn't very pretty it is just a black cylinder.

2) Colour?
The colour is actually the same to the colour you see on the botttle, I think Tanya has created some really nice colours!

3) Product?
The product its self is very good, the brush is the a perfect size to only apply the vanish so none gets on your fingers. I have had it on my nails now for 2 days and it hasn't chipped yet, which is really good. I done 2 coats and it dried really fast and it feels really smooth and look like a gel effect!

4) Price?
I wouldn't pay £4.99 for them, as you can get similar colour nail vanishes from other brand. However they are reduced now for £3.29! Which is a better price for them.

Overall I would rate it as a 8/10, only from the packaging and price.

Comment below if you like these kind of posts!

Also I spent Sunday editing my blog and making it better, so I hope you like it!
