Whats In My Go To Bag // Summer 2017

Summer (well as I am writing this, it looks more like winter) is finally here which means I will be going out on lots of day trips.
Today I am going to be showing you whats in my go to bag for the summer holidays.

This is my bag, it is a black and white mesh print backpack which was £13 from the New Look sale! Which I think is a bargain. It is the perfect size for a day bag, which I have been looking for, for ages now.
It has a pocket at the front and then a main part which has a zip pocket inside.

Now lets have a look inside...

In the front pocket, is where I keep my less valuable things. I have;

These are all of my daily essentials which are easy to get it and are always with me

 Now in the main pocket:
- My phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S7
-Radley Purse, which currently has no money in
-Radley Cosmetic pouch which has all of my hearing aids things such as batteries, case, tubing
-Maoam sweets, my favourite!
-A bottle of  water

Hope you have enjoyed todays posts
Let me know what you keep in you go to bag
-I have linked everything as closely as I can, some of the things you can't get anymore!

Trip To Paris

Hi everyone, I have missed writing blog posts, so today I am going to share with you all my trip away to Paris.
Some of you know that I play the flute in my schools band, which I love doing so much. I was lucky enough to go to Paris for our schools Music Tour, which contains amazing people who are part of band and choir.

Monday 17th July 2017:
We left just after 6:30am, after we packed the coach with all the instrument, suitcases, music technology and of course all of us! We traveled to Dover, to catch the ferry over to Calais. It was great to get of the coach for an hour or so, to stretch our legs and have a walk around. Once we arrived in Calais, we traveled to where we will be staying till Friday. We stayed in a student accommodation. When we arrived we took all of our bags to our rooms and then we had tea, which wasn't the best!

Tuesday 18th July 2017:
Tuesday morning, we didn't have our hopes up that breakfast was going to be any good! To be honest it was alright but not the best. At around 9, we set of for our first day in Paris. Our first stop was the Montparnasse Tower:

Our next stop was to our first performance of the trip. We played  on a band stand in the middle of a park, somewhere in Paris. It was so nice, lots of people stopped of and listened to us!

Our Final stop was to the river Seine for a boat trip. It was 35 degrees at this point, sunny pariee did not disappoint us!

Wednesday 19th July 2017:
Sunny pariee has now turned into windy pariee! Of we go to Notre Dame, to preform. I have to say, this performance was probably the funniest performance in a long time.
A random photo!

After we preformed, we then got back onto the coach to go to aquaboulevard, which is a big swimming park, with so many slides and water sports. It was great fun!
Then here comes the traffic, travelling back to the hotel took longer than expected, Paris traffic is a nightmare!
After tea, we played out in the fields or around the hotel, playing football, pinball, a group of us done henna tattoos!

Thursday 20th July 2017:

The day everyone has been waiting for DISNEY! I'm not a huge fan of rides, but I had an amazing time. It was so fun walking around Disney, shopping (I brought an Olaf bowl, a magnet and some sweets), watching the parade. It so incredible, how much effort goes into Disney!

We left Disney around 6:30, to go to the Dream Castle Hotel, for our very last performance altogether before people leave in September to go to university or college.
Performing in such a massive open space, gave us the challenge of trying to stay together when playing as we couldn't here ourselves or each other. But from the video people recorded, it sounded amazing!

Friday 21st July 2017:
Home time! We left our hotel at 9:30am, and got the Euro Tunnel back to England at 4:20pm. I have never been on the euro tunnel, and it was so different to what I thought it was! All the way home we sang songs and had a laugh. We arrived back home at 8:20pm. It was sad, as it was all over and I wish it went on longer as I had so much fun and never laughed or smiled as much as I did in a week before!
I will never forget this amazing time!
Hope you enjoyed reading this
I will be doing lots more blogpost from now on.

Long Time No Speak

Hi, hello, hows you? Everyone all doing fine?
I don't really know where to start of with this post, it feels completely strange typing!
As you can all tell I haven't writern many blog post this year, which I can blame on myself. These past couples of weeks I have really missed blogging and it's been on my mind quite a bit lately on how much I have missed it.
About 70% of why I haven't blogged this year is due to because I wasn't motivated and just felt like I was rushing all of my posts and doing the same things over and over again. The other 30% is a few other factors, school as you all know I am in my GCSE years, I do take school seriously and I do put the hours in as I want to do well and that's ok, as that's what I want. Other part is my health, I am not going to go into too much detail as I will be doing blog post on some big things that have happened this year. It's nothing bad or anything, so please don't worry!

I am going to try and upload once a week to a fortnight, as I do miss it, and I love doing it, I just need to make time and stop priotising things that are not important. There will be a few changes to what I upload as I would like it to be more relatable and more giving advice to people as that a kind of person who I am.

Thank you all for still being here

Homeware Haul

Doing a little haul today.
Over the past few months I have brought a couple of things for my bedroom.
I have also recently moved house which therefore means I can redecorate my room and make it more me! Its currently a cream colour which I don't really mind but its quite old fashioned and I would love to make it more modern. I think I am going to have a white, blue and grey themed room as I am loving these 3 colours together at the minute.

I went to Ikea, and brought lots but most of it is furniture, so its very hard to take photos of it. (Maybe soon I may do a room tour, let me know if you would like me to do one).  However another thing I brought, is this cactus. These come in sets of 3 and my brother has the other 2. I think plants in your room in general look really nice, if you keep on watering them and not letting the die.
I really like this cactus as its very different and I love that it looks like it has cob webs on it.

As well as the cactus from Ikea, I picked up 2 Skurar pots for my makeup brushes. Even though these are plant pots, I think they are great size for makeup brushes or even a pen holder. I love the design of the Skurar range so much!
Lastly from Ikea, I picked up a vanity unit mirror, to go on my new vanity. This only cost £3.50! I think that is extremely good as these types of mirrors tend to be £10/£12. Okay I know the quality of it is not that good, but it does the job for me.

From Next I picked up this photo frame for £6. Its a light blue distress type look and I quite like the distress look on decor at the minute. I popped a postcard in it, as I need to print some of the photos out from New York and Ibiza from last year.

From B&M, I brought the wicker hearts on a string.  This only cost £1.99 and I love it. It currently hangs of my wardrobe door nob, but soon it will be on my wall.

From Homesense I brought this photo frame. Its a blue and silver metal frame and I literally fell in love with it when I saw it, I think this will go perfectly on a bedside table once my room is done! As you can see there's a dog in the frame and that's Molly from when she was younger.

I also picked up this candle called Silent Night from the national park I went to last year. Yes I know its a Christmas Candle but it doesn't smell that christmassy, its more of a fresh sense.

Last thing are these wicker heart lights, from Asda costing £12. These are perfect to be hanged on top of my bed and when they are turned on they make my room look so cosy! As they are not just plain fairy lights they look good just as decoration and no need to turn them on when its the Summer.

I hope you enjoyed my little haul. Most of the things I brought are linked.
